VISUALISING THE FUTURE OF MUSIC’S BRIGHTEST STARS
Diatas Rata-Rata 2 is a music talent search project led by Erwin Gutawa, a renowned Indonesian composer, music producer, and conductor, along with his daughter Gita Gutawa, a celebrated singer-songwriter. Known for his orchestral mastery and contributions to Indonesia’s music industry, Erwin Gutawa’s involvement adds immense credibility to the project, making it a prestigious platform for young talents.
The program is dedicated to uncovering and nurturing exceptional teenage musicians across Indonesia. From thousands of hopefuls, seven standout finalists are selected to perform in a grand concert and be featured in a professionally produced album.
The visual identity of the project reflects the energy, diversity, and individuality of the teenagers it represents. The CMYK color palette, often associated with vibrant creativity and limitless possibilities, symbolizes the fresh, bold, and dynamic spirit of youth. Paired with a custom typography design inspired by musical notation, the branding captures the essence of artistic growth, self-expression, and evolution—mirroring the journey of these young musicians as they step into the spotlight.
