THE RETURN OF SHELOMITA

Shelomita Diah grew up in a family that loved the arts. Her passion for music started early, learning to sing and play piano from the age of four, supported by her mother who was also a singer. From ages 8 to 15, she studied at YPM Music School. She gained experience as a backing vocalist for popular Indonesian bands like Slank, Dewa 19, and Imaniez. In 2000, she released her debut album, Langkah.

After a 14-year break, Shelomita planned a comeback to the Indonesian music scene with a new album titled “Kembali” (meaning “Return”). The central theme of this album is love.

The album uses threads as a metaphor to represent the many different forms of love—some tangled, some straight, others bundled—symbolizing the complex and diverse experiences of love in our lives. The title "Kembali" is visually represented with thread-like lettering, tying in the theme of connection, return, and emotional journey.

This concept aims to emotionally reconnect Shelomita with her audience, showing that love, in all its forms, remains a universal and powerful theme in life.
